TERMS & CONDITIONS
This agreement sets out the terms and conditions of your use of the UK Divorce website located at www.uk-divorce.com and the purchase of documents from the website.
The use of the website does not constitute legal advice, nor does the transmission, downloading or sending of any document or other information create a solicitor/client relationship. The documents are standard styles only and require to be personalised to suit your own specific circumstances. UK Divorce does not offer legal advice and is not a law firm or law practice. The information provided by UK Divorce is offered for informational purposes only and is similar to that provided by self-help law books and legal forms offered for sale through retail outlets.
Each form and document should be treated as a starting point and should not substitute for professional legal analysis. The service of the site and each form and document is licensed with the understanding and agreement that we, any content provider, and any author, are not engaged in rendering legal, accounting or other professional services. If legal or other expert assistance is required, the services of a competent professional should be sought. The user assumes all responsibilities and obligations with respect to any decisions or advice made or given as a result of the use of any form or document and for the selection of a form or document to achieve the user's intended results.
You may use the documents as many times as you wish subject to these Terms and Conditions. We recommend that you check the website regularly to ensure that the documents are the latest version before re-use. Changes in the law will render certain documents out of date from time to time and you will not be notified if any particular document has been amended. Although every care has been taken to insure the accuracy of the information provided, we do not promise, warranty, or guarantee that the information is correct, complete, or up-to-date. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the resources or information available within this website.
OUR AIMS
The Service is intended to bring to the legal market place a product which has never existed in the past, namely a non-interactive fixed fee document system as a means to document various legal transactions in a price competitive way. As indicated elsewhere in this Terms and Conditions Statement, the legal information and legal documents available from this website is not a substitute for the legal advice of a solicitor.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
What you are purchasing from UK Divorce is a legal product in the form of a step-by-step guide which contains the 'know-how' of UK Divorce's expert legal drafters and it is not a legal service. The legal document products provided are not a substitute for legal advice provided by a duly licensed solicitor. While UK Divorce has taken every care in ensuring the accuracy of the contents of the documents, due to the continuing changing nature of the legal systems the information contained in the documents will during the passage of time become outdated.
UK Divorce will use reasonable efforts to update documents, and believes that the Documents contain sufficient information to provide you with a starting point in the process of assembling a standard legal document. The documents are not suitable to provide expert legal advice or where any particular transaction will require the documents to be amended or altered. They should be utilized as a guide only to production of the relevant documentation for the particular purpose ascribed to it.
